JurisTax was founded in 2008 with a vision of its Founder and CEO, Mrs Nishi Kichenin, who had gathered from her rich professional experience that her clients had needs well beyond drafting contracts or wills. They needed someone who would help them make sense of their finances and make smarter decisions based on their lifestyle and life goals, with all the unexpected twists and turns that come with it. In short, they were looking for a trustworthy confidant, and above all peace of mind.

Nishi also saw the need to provide a more personal approach and unbiased tailored advice, which could only be achieved under a fiduciary standard.

At the time, most financial advice came from institutions pushing their own products, and management companies were a scarcity in Mauritius. Therefore, Nishi set out on a mission to do things differently. She assembled a team of seasoned experts and built an independent firm on the premise that clients are best served by advisors who are exclusively focused on their best interests and unburdened by conflicts of interest.

Today, JurisTax still embraces those values and has come to be known as a name people know and trust. We sit on the same side of the table as you – and we would not have it any other way.
