Main Duties:

• Carrying out Compliance review of the files housed at the management company and its subsidiaries– including ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements to Registrar of Companies, Financial Services Commission, Mauritius Revenue Authority and any other authorities, as may be applicable;
• Making compliance and due diligence reports;
• Ensuring a regular compliance follow up on the files and the effective implementation of reviews;
• Overseeing the client’s compliance and reporting to the Team Leader and / or Manager and / or Head of Compliance;
• Checking the completeness of due diligence documents of clients;
• Assisting in the take on / onboarding of new clients and completing in the client acceptance procedures, from time to time;
• Assisting in the pre-visit preparation and onsite visit of regulators;
• Engaging actively in adoption and implementation of KYC principles and the anti-money laundering and combatting terrorism financing measures, laws and guidelines;
• Updating the compliance library on an ongoing basis;
• Assisting the Team Leader / Manager in respect of any specific search as may be assigned from time to time;
• Assisting the compliance team for the update of the annual compliance time table;
• Assisting for the maintenance of all inhouse registers up to date; and
• Assisting for any cognate duties as may be assigned by your reporting line from time to time.
